 The AMTA Austin Unit Spring Social held May 22, 2010 at the lovely home of
Susan and Terry Matheny, who have a lovely back yard, perfect for entertaining. Looks like Susan and her husband spend a lot of time out there.  Great food and lively conversations filled the patio and gardens. Thanks for the great time had by all the attendees. It was great to meet Jim Mooney and his wife who came from hundreds of miles away. Glad to meet other AMTA members from so far away

 

July 24th -      Texas Academy of Family Physicians - Susan Matheny and her Austin Unit board provided chair massage for this group as part of an AMTA event.

 

Sept. 12th - 1:00pm - 5:00pm Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage

Feng Shui classroom set up taught by Belinda Mendozaand Sports Massage class (post event)taught by Paul and Savitri Frizzell

October 24 to 30 is NATIONAL MASSAGE THERAPY AWARENESS WEEK.We are planning another volunteer event for the massage awareness week but have not confirmed the date, so watch for more information about volunteering for another great cause during this Massage Awareness week. 

October 30, 2010, The Austin Unit Fall social will be a Halloween party inviting all massage therapist, not only just AMTA members, so let’s reach out and show other massage therapists how much fun we can have too. Invite others, costumes required and members bring a dish. Location to be determined.  Watch your emails.

 

AMTA Austin Unit Spring Meeting date is planned February 27th 2011, and the CEU class planned is Ayurvedic Massage with James Bishop. Watch for more information in your email inbox!
